displayed digitally on the watch; longer messages scroll across the bottom
of the watch face.
DIGITAL
A time display that uses numbers for hours and seconds.
E
ELAPSED TIME RING

FLIX is directionally oriented. ONLY MOVEMENTS IN THE DIRECTION
OF THE LENS OF THE WATCH COMBINED A SHARP STOP WILL ACTIVATE THE
INDIGLO NIGHT-LIGHT.
Movements in other directions will not activate your Indiglo night-light.
I

when on the move.
P

or Centigrade. This is useful for fishing, hunting, skiing and other outdoors
activities.
W
WATER-RESISTANCE
Your watch is water-resistant if it has the wave symbol etched into the back
of the case. Water resistance is measured and rated by depth in meters. The
tests are made by subjecting the watches to water pressure (see table below).
Depth
30 meters = 98.4 feet
50 meters = 164 feet
100 meters = 328 feet
200 meters = 656 feet
Equivalent Immersion
60 p.s.i.a.*
86 p.s.i.a.*
160 p.s.i.a.*
284 p.s.i.a.*
The watches will withstand water pressure up to their respective
ratings as long as the lens or crystal, crown or push buttons,
and case remain intact.
Even though the watch may be water resistant to a significant
depth, it is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.Timex
strongly recommends rinsing your watch with fresh water after exposure
to salt water
NOTE: TO MAINTAIN WATER-RESISTANCE, DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS UNDER
WATER UNLESS YOUR WATCH IS INDICATED AS 200 METER WATER-RESISTANT.
